 Dr. L. Douglas Knight completed his undergraduate education and received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky. Following various military assignments in the Army Dental Corps, he completed a residency program in orthodontics at New York University and was awarded a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In addition, Dr. Knight also completed a one year advanced education program in general dentistry and a comprehensive two year continuing clinical program in Occlusion and Orthodontics at the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion. A native of Kentucky, Dr. Knight is a member of numerous professional organizations, has been chosen by his peers as one of the nations top dentists as reported in The Best Dentists in America, Woodward/White, and is active in community and civic associations. Dr. Knight is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He lectures internationally on new orthodontic techniques and Interdisciplinary Dentistry. Dr Knight is a board certified orthodontist of the American Board of Orthodontics and a recipient of the Pacesetter Award from the Roth/Williams International Society of Orthodontists. Away from the office, Dr. Knight enjoys spending time with his wife Donna and their two children, Connor and Kendall.
