If you have dental insurance, please bring a completed form or a copy of your insurance card. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
Please print and complete the online patient form if possible.
II. Second Step - Orthodontic Records
Successfully achieving the goals for an ideal orthodontic result begins by properly diagnosing all of the problems involved. This includes not only the teeth, but also the joints and face as well. Some patients have hidden skeletal problems, such as facial asymmetries and dual bites, which can only be detected by proper diagnostic evaluation.
Orthodontic records can vary greatly and are the basis for obtaining the proper diagnostic information. We only diagnose what we see. Records are taken in order to determine what is possible to achieve with orthodontic treatment.
III. Third Step - The Consultation Appointment and Computerized Analysis
During this visit, we will go over all possible treatment options in detail, and address all of your questions and concerns. Computerized analysis allows the patient to view each of these options on the computer. Financial arrangements and all preparations for placing the braces are made at this appointment.
IV. Fourth Step - Placing the Braces
This appointment is scheduled after your Consultation Appointment. In spite of what you may have heard (or you remember from your own earlier experiences) you will be surprised how fast and comfortable our modern techniques have made the placement of braces. Placing orthodontic appliances in an easy visit.
V. Fifth Step - Successive Visits
Treatment times vary widely, usually between one and two years, depending on age, the patient's cooperation and the severity of the case. Periodic visits are an important part of orthodontic treatment. Usually, we will want to see you every 4-8 weeks to check your progress and make adjustments to your braces. During this time, you will need to keep appointments, follow instructions, as well as practice good oral hygiene and proper nutrition. Also, continue to visit your dentist regularly. |
